Fans of Rohit Sharma were compelled to erect posters outside Wankhede Stadium during MI vs. RR.

Prior to the Mumbai Indians’ match against the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday, April 1, there were some startling displays. Old captain Rohit Sharma’s posters could be seen being thrown outside the stadium.

Fans can be seen leaving their placards and banners outside the venue in the video that has gone popular on social media. However, people on X (previously known as Twitter) are saying that they were not permitted to carry posters endorsing Rohit Sharma.

The announcement was made in response to rumours that anyone caught booing Hardik Pandya would be led from the stadium. It is noteworthy that booing have been heard throughout the Ahmedabad and Hyderabad stadiums ever since Pandya assumed the captaincy of MI.

Speaking of the match between the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals, the Mumbai Indians lost the toss and choose to bat first to start the contest. Star batsman Rohit Sharma was out for a golden duck as soon as the five-time champions took the pitch.
