Fans have been severely criticising Hardik ever since he was elected MI captain. Sreesanth notes that the great Sachin Tendulkar played for MS Dhoni and says that Rohit would love to play freely under Hardik’s guidance.

“Rohit, to the best of my knowledge, would prefer to bat freely without the responsibility of captain, and he might even win the Orange Cap. He’s going to enjoy a fantastic season. The 41-year-old continued, “He has led the Mumbai Indians from the front, but I am confident Rohit will lead the team from the rear.

Speaking further, Sreesanth said that Rohit Sharma won’t change no matter where he plays and that he will be the same. The player, who was born in Kerala, continued by expressing his belief in Hitman’s skill and predicted that he would hit a high number of runs this year. Notably, the 36-year-old set an undesirable record this IPL by recording the equal-highest consecutive of ducks (17) in the Twenty20 match.

“Let’s welcome and be prepared for the shift, in my opinion. Rohit will remain the same for whatever team he plays with. Though I’m sure he’s going through a tough moment personally, I have every confidence he’ll handle it well and emerge victorious. This season, Rohit is going to score big,” he said.
