Krunal Pandya reveals chat with Mayank Yadav

After an injury scare in Lucknow, Krunal Pandya says he spoke with Mayank Yadav and “seemed okay.”

“I’m not sure what’s going on, but we were relieved to have a quick conversation with him for a few seconds,” Krunal Pandya remarked.

Gujarat Titans were easily defeated by the Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium recently. On Sunday, April 7, the 21st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 saw both teams square off. Although Lucknow emerged victorious, there were other concerning aspects of the match.

Mayank Yadav, a prominent bowler for the Gujarat Titans, left the pitch after just one over. It is noteworthy that the young player appeared to be losing speed before leaving the pitch and that he was even struck for three boundaries.

All-around player Krunal Pandya’s effort carried the Lucknow Super Giants to a decisive victory in Yadav’s absence. In addition, Krunal came forward to discuss his conversation with Mayank Yadav following the game, saying that it was not a severe matter and the child should be OK.

ESPNcricinfo cited Krunal Pandya as stating, “I don’t know what is happening but I did have a brief couple of seconds’ chat – he seemed okay, which was quite a relief for us.”

“I had been observing this promising young man for the past two years. He used to bowl gun in the nets, but he was injured last year and was unable to do so. However, based on our conversations, it appears that he also has a sound head on his shoulders,” he continued.

LSG wins their third game of the year.

Marcus Stoinis added 58 runs to the total, while KL Rahul hit 33 runs in 31 deliveries. In addition, Nicholas Pooran scored 32 runs without losing, which assisted LSG in reaching the target.

Gujarat was powerless against Lucknow’s superb bowling effort, which was aimed at defending the goal.
