Virat Kohli’s statue unveiled by the Jaipur Wax Museum

There are 44 wax figures in the museum, which is housed on the grounds of Nahargarh Fort. Notable cricket players Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are among them.

On Thursday, April 18, the statue of the renowned Virat Kohli was revealed in Jaipur at the city’s wax museum. The 35 kg statue that enshrined the former captain of India was unveiled on World Heritage Day.

It took almost two months to totally sculpt Kohli’s statue. There are currently 44 wax statues in the museum, which is housed on the grounds of Nahargarh Fort. Among them are those of famous cricket players and former captains of India, MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar.

The tourists were adamant that Kohli’s monument belonged in the museum. The Indian Express cited Anoop Srivastava as saying, “The wax statue was unveiled today on World Heritage Day.”

The museum has statues of notable figures from a variety of fields. Among the monuments at the site are those of Mother Teresa, Amitabh Bachchan, Bhagat Singh, Jawaharlal Nehru, APJ Abdul Kalam, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Mahatma Gandhi.

In the IPL 2024, how has Virat Kohli performed?


In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 thus far, Kohli has been the picture of consistency. After seven innings, the Delhi batsman has scored 361 runs at a remarkable average of 72.20 and a strike rate of 147.35. Thus far, he has struck 14 sixes and 35 fours. In a match against the Rajasthan Royals, Kohli scored his eighth IPL century despite recording two half-centuries. Others have supported him by drawing attention to the little of support he has had from the other Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) hitters, while some have criticized him for slowing down after receiving starts.

Following five straight losses, they will be eager to resume their winning ways.
