Meher stated that when she fulfills her ambition of becoming a cricket player, she will give that treasured ball to someone else.

In a touching moment, MS Dhoni gave a cricket ball to a child fan in the stands during the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs. Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL 2024 match on April 14 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Soon after making a stunning cameo in the last over of the first innings, scoring an undefeated 20 runs off only four balls, he showed compassion. The former captain of CSK saw a small child on his way to the dressing room and stopped to give her the ball, which he had picked up from the steps.

Meher, who fulfilled the ambition of many Dhoni supporters, recently discussed her feelings over the special occasion. The little fan stated that she hoped to play cricket for India in the future. She further said that when she fulfills her ambition of becoming a cricket player, she will give that special ball to someone else.

In the present IPL 2024 match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow, MS Dhoni once again displayed his batting brilliance. Following their assignment to bat first, CSK had a rough start to their innings, falling behind at 33/2 after taking the wickets of Rachin Ravindra and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the first five overs.

After opening with the Kiwi international, Ajinkya Rahane made an effort to forge an important alliance with Ravindra Jadeja. Unfortunately, the opening delivery of the ninth over saw the seasoned hitter fall victim to Krunal Pandya. Rahane hit five boundaries and one maximum throughout his innings, which concluded at 36 off 24 deliveries.

After Moeen Ali was out for 30, Dhoni stepped in to bat at No. 8. In only nine deliveries, he hammered an undefeated 28, which included two sixes and three fours. The standout player for CSK was Jadeja, who scored 57 runs off 40 balls without losing an over as the visitors amassed 176 runs in the allocated overs.
