During Monday, April 22,’s game between the Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians, Yuzvendra Chahal became the first player in IPL history to take 200 wickets.
As Yuzvendra Chahal became the first cricket player to reach 200 Indian Premier League (IPL) wickets during Monday’s match between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI), Amit Mishra had a playful congratulations greeting for him.
In the eighth over of the encounter, veteran leg-spinner Chahal claimed his 200th IPL victim, creating a memorable occasion at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. He delivered a leg-spinner that was flighted on both middle and leg, which Nabi attempted to shift to the leg-side, but he was caught by the Rajasthan spinner with ease as he was early in the shot.
Subsequently, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) released a video featuring Amit Mishra, another accomplished leg-spinner. In the film, the 41-year-old expressed his congratulations to Chahal and promised to surpass his wicket-total the next time he has the ball.
“Hey Yuzi [Yuzvendra Chahal], apke 200 wickto k liye bohot khush hu, aur mere ko peeche chor diya kyunki main khel nahi raha hu. It’s really unfortunate that you have to go through this, but at least you may hope for a healthy competition. [Happy for you to reach 200 wickets. Since I am not playing, you have left me behind. That’s the reason you’ve surpassed me, and I hope the healthy rivalry continues. In the video that LSG shared on social media, Mishra stated, “I’m waiting for my chance to beat you again.”
“I’m really happy for you, but let’s see what happens in the future. Chalo dekhte hai aage chalke kya hota hai.” Continue. Best wishes for everything!” The seasoned leg spin expert continued.
