Highlighting their long-standing connection, Shahrukh Khan referred to Kohli as Bollywood’s “Daamad” (son-in-law) with affection.
Shahrukh Khan, a Bollywood actor and co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, expressed his appreciation for former India and RCB captain Virat Kohli without holding back. He revealed the depth of their long-standing bond by referring to the famed batter as Bollywood’s “Daamad” (son-in-law).
Shahrukh revealed that he is close to Virat Kohli and has known him for a long time. He stated that he has known Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli for a considerable amount of time, having spent time with them even during Kohli’s dating days. Not content to just express gratitude, King Khan also shared a funny story about teaching Kohli the distinctive dance to the hit song from his next film, Pathaan.
“I just love him, and I spent a lot of time with him.” We refer to him as our son-in-law and the “Daamad” of our brotherhood. Among the players, I have had the most experience with him. I’ve spent a lot of time with Virat and Anushka during the years that we’ve known each other. I’ve known him while we were filming the movie together and he was still dating. He thus spent a lot of time with us and warmed up quickly,” Khan told Star Sports.
“I showed him how to dance to the Pathan movie title song.” He attempted to dance with Ravindra Jadeja during one of the India matches that I witnessed. They were attempting to perform the dance step, and I was disappointed by how poorly they were executing it! I said to them, “Let me teach you the moves so that at least when you dance at the next World Cup and other Championships, you’ll call me and ask how to do the steps,” Khan continued.
