The BCCI announced on Tuesday (May 14) that Bengaluru and Chennai will serve as the hosts for South Africa Women’s all-format tour of India. The three ODIs that will be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 16, 19, and 24 will precede the visitors’ warm-up match against the Board President’s XI team in Bengaluru on May 13.
After that, on June 28, the two teams will play a single Test match at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. This will be just the third Test between the two teams; the last one was held in Mysore over ten years ago.
Three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) on July 5, 7, and 9 will round off the tour and serve as a prelude to the T20 World Cup, which will take place in Bangladesh later this year.
