“Rather, there are many players in IPL who can learn from him,” Yunus stated.
Jalal Yunus, the chairman of cricket operations for the Bangladesh Cricket Board, has supported the board’s choice to recall Mustafizur Rahman from the 2024 IPL for the Zimbabwe series. Furthermore, he stated that Mustafizur has nothing to learn from the league that is wealthy. The only other player from Bangladesh participating in the competition is the pacer, and Yunus stated that other players, not he, are the ones who can learn from Mustafizur.
The left-arm bowler, who has given the Chennai Super Kings early season breakthroughs, is in excellent form. He was supposed to return to Bangladesh on May 1st, but at CSK’s request, he was given an additional day. He has already claimed 10 wickets in five games. Before leaving CSK, Mustafizur will play four more games.
“Mustafizur can perform till May 1st. He is scheduled to return on May 2 and will be available starting that day. Playing in the IPL has taught Mustafizur nothing. Mustafizur’s education is now complete. Instead, a lot of the IPL players have a lot to learn from him. This would not help Bangladesh,” Yunus stated, as reported by The Daily Star.

“Mustafizur’s fitness is our main worry. They wish to possess him entirely. We’re headachey about his fitness, but they’re not. Mustafizur is being called back not only to participate in the Zimbabwe series, but also so that we can schedule his workload. But if he’s playing in the IPL, that plan won’t work,” he continued.
CSK intends to maintain the current momentum.
On April 19, CSK and the Lucknow Super Giants will play Match 34 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. They just defeated the Mumbai Indians by a margin of 20 runs in a convincing victory. With four victories and two losses, the reigning champions are ranked third in the standings.
